Films on Housing
Thanks to all those who attended the film night last Saturday. For those people who missed it don’t worry, you can watch the films we showed online
Our star film was Brixton Fairies, a film by Launderette Films about the 1970s gay squatting movement in Brixton.
We also showed films on current campaigns:
- We showed a film by the Cressingham Gardens Residents Assocation about their fight to stop their estate being demolished. You can see it here
- We showed three films by Focus E15 Mums, you can see them here, here and here
- We showed two films by by London Renters. You can see them here and here
All these films have active campaigns behind them. If you’d like to get involved please contact us
There’s one other films we didn’t have time to show, but is well worth seeing. It’s a short film on St Agnes Place. Like Brixton Fairies, this covers the 1970s squatting movement. You can view it here
